The Masseys are a Southern/Country Gospel trio from Kentucky with decades of ministry rooted in family and faith. Rick and Teresa Massey began singing together in 1969, and in 1983, with the addition of Rick’s brother Kenneth, they officially became The Masseys. Over the years, their daughter La’Casta joined on piano and later as a vocalist, continuing the family’s gospel legacy. The group recorded several well-loved projects and gained national attention in the late ’90s with songs like I’m Still Amazed and Victory Party. After a sabbatical to focus on local ministry and family, Rick and Teresa returned to the road in 2010, this time joined by long-time friend and fellow minister David Gibson.
Now back in full-time ministry, The Masseys are traveling and singing with a renewed passion. Their latest album, It’s All About Jesus, features all-original songs and reflects their heart for sharing the gospel through music. With a message of hope and salvation, The Masseys count it a joy and calling to encourage the church and reach the lost. Their prayer is simple: that their songs would lift hearts and lead others to the saving grace of Jesus Christ.
